A Shot of JD with Friends - Karim Muhammad Teachers Appreciation Foundation

Episode Summary

I was honored to receive an award from the Teachers Appreciation Foundation. Founder and Executive Director Karim Muhammad delivered the award on a Saturday morning. Of course, I had to get the whole thing recorded. It was a fantastic conversation ranging from teachers and role models, what it was like being a radio DJ in the 1990s, praise for a local OKC artist Jabee, and some serious talk about engaging parents in the classroom and taking care of your mental health. Also, there is a contest, but you have to listen for details! (Well, if it isn't past August 29, 2021, but I still would love for you to listen!)
